Located on the corner of Independence and Main Street in historic downtown Enid, the Cherokee Strip Conference Center is the premier facility of Northwestern Oklahoma.
The Kress Building was built in 1908 and was the premier store of the greater Enid area. Today, the original Kress Building has been incorporated into the Cherokee Strip Conference Center and the original store front and tin ceilings can be recognized in that portion of the facility.
The Cherokee Strip Conference Center is owned and managed by the City of Enid.
