How far in advance do I need to reserve a room?
It really depends on the day of the week, time of year, and how much space is needed. Pioneer Hall books about a year in advance on weekends in December. Weekends in the summer also book up pretty quickly for weddings. Unfortunately, there is not guaranteed time frame for booking to guarantee availability – it is best to call immediately to check what is available when planning your event.
Can I put a hold on a room?
We don’t hold rooms without a signed contract and deposit. If the room is available when you call, we are more than happy to get the contract ready to send out to you for your signature.
Where can my conference attendees eat if I am not providing food and beverage?
There are multiple restaurants within walking distance of the facility that will satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Click here for a complete listing. We do suggest calling ahead for large tables if you are in a hurry to get back to your meeting.
How is food and beverage handled at your facility?
We have a list of preferred caterers that you can call to cater your event. If there is someone that is not on our preferred catering list that you would like to use, just let us know and we can get the correct documentation from them to be able to cater at our facility. A 10% catering fee applies to all catered events. If you want to bring in your own food, an additional clean up fee applies. For further explanation regarding this policy, consult your event coordinator when booking your event.
